According to Charlton, "this type has long been considered a mule of the 1842 and 1837 one penny tokens, having the 1842 obverse of PC-2B (Br 526) and the reverse of LC-9A (Br 521)." Reddish-brown patina, with fully struck details, and light edge marks.
