Radiate bust right, slight drapery / The hero Aulonites on horseback right, brandishing a lance; RPCP in exergue. Amandry, Res Publica, 3 (D2/R1); Amandry, Nouvelles, 3d (this coin); Solidus 18, lot 161. Dark green patina, spot of red-brown, porous and rough. VF. Extremely rare, Amandry cites only four examples, two of which are in public collections, two examples – including this coin – in CoinArchives.
