Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, aegis tied around neck; dotted border / ΠTOΛEMAIOY-BAΣIΛEΩΣ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, wings closed; L ΛB (date) in left field, ΠA in right field, dotted border. Svoronos 1446. SNG Copenhagen 299. Struck from fresh high relief dies on bright flan. Magnificent eye appeal and unusually nice for the issue.
