Lithuania Medal is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Lithuania's independence in 1928. The medal is dedicated to the tenth anniversary of Lithuania's independence. The medal was minted by the Swiss company Huguenin Frères de Le Locle. The author of the work is one of the first professionals and one of the most famous in the 20th century. Lithuanian sculptor Juozas Zikaras (1881–1944) of the first half. The obverse of the medal contains an interpretation of the image of the famous sculpture 'Freedom' by J. Zikaras (1921; built in 1928). The medal depicts a figure stepping on the surface of the sun (symbol of light); holding a flag in his right hand; and in his left hand; shrunken chains (symbol of liberation). The reverse of the medal shows the entry FOR AGES / WAKE-FREEDOM / WINNING / THROUGH SACRIFICES AND / DEDICATION / 1918-1928. The medal is round. attached to the ribbon with a horizontal plate.
