Lithuania Medal of the Vytautas the Great Order 1930. The medal was established in 1930; together with the order. It was provided to both military (excluding officers) and civilian. It is known that at least the 1st degree - 40 people; II - 218; III - 2568 people were awarded the Vytautas the Great Grand Medal. AVERSE: in the middle of a pear - a portrait of Vytautas the Great; on the left of the medal is the hand holding the sword with the spike upwards; on the right is the part of the flag with the Vytis cross. At the chest; a girl (face to the right) kneels on a low pedestal; holding a laurel wreath. The pedestal is marked with two lines of 'VYTAUTAS / DIDYSIS'. REVERSE: across the mark is a 0.5 cm wide strip with oak leaves; on it is a shield with a crown on top and a stylized Vytis. Below the band; in the middle of the right two lines; is inscribed '1430/1930'. Bronze. (new ribbon). Weight approx: 24.90 g. Diameter: 39x36 mm
