Plautilla, wife of Caracalla (died 212 AD). AR Denarius. Struck under Caracalla. Obv. Draped bust right, hair coiled in ridges and fastened in bun at back. Rev. Caracalla standing left, clasping right hands with Plautilla standing right. RIC IV (Carac.) 365 a; C. 12. AR. 3.50 g. 18.00 mm. Delicate portrait, toned. Good VF.
