OMAN. 25 Omani Rials, 1995. PCGS PROOF-68 Deep Cameo Gold Shield.
KM-144a. AGW: 1.4784 oz. Struck for the 25th National Day anniversary. A RARE issue struck in gold with the addition of colorization atop the bust of Qabus bin Said. While the mintage for this type is unrecorded, it was certainly very small, as we have seen only two other examples appear at auction, the last of which sold in 2012.
