A type that is invariably certified at times as a proof issue, one would think that this specimen would garner such distinction as it offers a very sharp, presentable strike along with a vibrant, lustrous planchet. Compare to a similar piece--though inferior in the opinion of this cataloger--in our October 2020 Hong Kong auction (lot 40322), which sold for a total of $1,020.
