THAILAND. Patani-Kelantan. Kupang, ND (1800-50). PCGS MS-64 Gold Shield.
KM-51; Krisadolarn-D921; SS-57. Weight: 0.60 gms. An interesting issue depicting a bold rendition of the Malaysian barking deer (Kijang) left within beaded border on the obverse while the reverse bares the abbreviated crude Arabic inscription "Al Adil" (The Just) making for an intriguing small size 19th century gold coin. This near-Gem survivor displays much brilliance with a hint of color in the open areas adding to its pleasing appearance.
Estimate: $500.00- $700.00
