(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Fujian. 20 Cash, ND (ca. 1853-55). Fuzhou Mint. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Graded "Authentic" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.781; FD-2517. Weight: 38.7 gms. One dot tong. "Xian Feng tong bao"; Reverse: "Er shi". This wholesome and original looking example offers a pleasing appearance displaying rich chocolate brown patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices accentuating the somewhat crude calligraphy. This charming survivor retains much of its naturally rough surface texture in the open areas now glossy adding to its pleasing appearance. The high points and broad rims show even wear, though the rims do exhibit a slight rough texture and a few insignificant bruises mentioned for accuracy.

Estimate: $600.00- $800.00
