(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Fujian. 20 Cash, ND (ca. 1853-55). Fuzhou Mint. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Certified "82" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.794; FD-2520. Weight: 36.6 gms. "Xian Feng zhong bao"; Reverse: "Er shi"; Rim: "Yi liang ji zhong". This attractive and popular issue exhibits rich brown patina with minor earthen deposits adding nice contrast and much originality. The open fields retain much of their naturally rough surface texture with well-formed calligraphy exhibiting good definition, though the obverse characters are a bit obscured with debris in the crevasses further lending to its originality. The rims are relatively intact save for a few minor edge bruises mentioned for accuracy. This rather charming survivor is sure to catch the attention of collectors looking for nice wholesome pieces to add to their numismatic holdings.

Estimate: $1200.00- $1600.00
