(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Sichuan. 100 Cash, ND (ca. 1854-55). Chengdu Mint. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Certified "80" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.981; FD-2532. Weight: 43.6 gms. "Xian Feng yuan bao"; Reverse: "Dang bai". This nicely preserved and wholesome example exhibits moderate wear with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices and complementary rich brassy patina offering much originality that's pleasing to the eye. The rims are intact save for a few minor insignificant abrasions or bruises almost not worth mentioning, but done so for the sake of accuracy and are unobtrusive and hardly distracting. The reverse does exhibit the initials "BV" in the lower right quadrant of an unknown meaning. This lovely representative has much to offer collectors certain to see spirited bidding.

Estimate: $600.00- $800.00
