Weight: 35.7 gms. "Guang Xu tong bao"; Reverse: "Tian xia tai ping". This richly toned example displays bold well-defined calligraphy with intact naturally rough surface texture in the fields and minor earthen deposits and green encrustation amongst the devices. The high points and rims show many hit marks and edge bumps indicative of significant handling over a long period of time adding a bit of charm to this piece. Despite its shortcomings this handsome survivor is pleasing with lots of character certain to add depth to the next collection it enters.
