(t) CHINA. Dollar, Year 3 (1914)-O. PCGS AU-58 Gold Shield.
L&M-63c; K-648; KM-Y-329.4; WS-0174-6. Weak hidden "O" mintmark in left loop of ribbon, character connected. This wholesome, problem free and gently used survivor displays mottled gray and slate patina over the satiny surfaces. Though struck well with good definition of details, the hidden "o" on the reverse is quite weak. The loss of such a fine detail is indicative of prolonged use where aspects of the dies start to fill in or fail altogether. This nice looking example is sure to excite collectors of this prolific issue sure to see spirited bidding.
Estimate: $700.00- $1000.00
