KMX-1395. An interesting issue with a motif similar to the 1911 50 Cent pattern issues and 10 and 20 Cent circulation strikes, but dated five years after said coinage was struck and with a completely different legends making attribution of this issue as a fantasy quite easy. This well struck and nicely preserved example offers bold details with signs of being cleaned long ago, now displaying a thin veneer of tone with richer coloration amongst the devices adding to its pleasing appearance. Despite its shortcomings a handsome representative of the type with a decent look sure be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
