BHM-2317. Struck in tin, to commemorate the arrival in England of a large Chinese junk, the first time a vessel of that class had ever made the voyage. Obverse: Facing bust, "MANDARIN HESING OF THE CHINESE JUNK" around; Reverse: 15 line inscription detailing the vessel and voyage. Holed at top with thin attachment loop. A prooflike, high profile strike with frosty raised devices.
