CL-SC.77a; KM-Y-230.3; CCC-392; Duan-1979; Copper Coins of the Szechuan Province of the Late Qing Dynasty-pg. 90 #19. A RARE variety with the trident shaped flame pointing at the "ZE" of "SZE CHUEN". A well struck piece with traces of mint red in the peripheries, and a number of light scratches on both sides. We sold a comparable example in our April 2014 Hong Kong auction Lot # 31536 which hammered for $16,000 plus buyers fee. Despite its shortcomings a handsome example with decent look.
