A Mixtec whistle figure from Mexico, ca. 1200 - 1500 A.D. This standing male is 5? tall and is posed with hands held behind his back. He is wearing a loincloth, large ear ornaments and a Mohawk style coif. Heavy mineral deposits, soft tone on the whistle.
