World Coins, Thailand, Chulalongkorn, Rama V, pattern half att or solot, CS.1244 (1882), in cupro-nickel, coronet above monogram, rev. inscription within wreath (KM.Y17a), certified and graded by NGC as Mint State 66, extremely rare
A copper pattern was sold by Heritage, 10 April 2014 (lot 3302), whilst a cupro-nickel pattern with the earlier date CS.1236 (1874) was also sold by Heritage, 12 July 2020 (lot 30335). There was no example in Spink-Taisei auction 4, 'Coins of Thailand', 11 February, 1988.
