The Eccles Collection | George II (1727-1760), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1735, first bust, small lettering, rev. eight strings to harp, edge obliquely milled, 6.06g, 6h (Spink 3698; ESC 1707 [1198]; Pywell-Phillips 335), carbon spot to periphery and some friction, otherwise lightly toned and lustrous, almost extremely fine.
