LESBOS, Mytilene. Circa 215-200 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.83 g, 12h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, monogram above kithara. Price 1704; HGC 6, 1046 (same obv. die as illustration). Dark iridescent tone, small flan flaw on obverse. VF. Rare.
