Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Sestertius (34mm, 26.13 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 116-117. Laureate bust right, wearing aegis / Providentia standing left, holding scepter and leaning on draped column, pointing to globe at feet to left. RIC II 663 var. (obv. bust type); Woytek 591t2 (this coin referenced and illustrated); Banti 88. Tan surfaces with touches of green and red, flan cracks, minor pitting on the reverse. VF. Artistic bust. Rare.
