Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ Sestertius (34mm, 26.33 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 120 (late) – 121. Laureate bust right with bare chest, slight drapery / LIBERAL IT AS AVG III, S C in exergue, Hadrian seated left on platform between an officer and an attendant holding an abacus; to left, citizen standing right on the ground holding out fold of toga. RIC II.3 420; Banti 497. Brown and green patina, brassy highlights, a few scratches on obverse, minor smoothing. VF.
