Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.50 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 206. Laureate head right / Septimius on horseback prancing right, holding spear. RIC IV 202; RSC 480. Toned, thin flan crack, areas of flat strike on reverse, a few spots of verdigris. Good VF. An attractive, scarce type.
