Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Michael IX. 1282-1328. AV Hyperpyron Nomisma (22mm, 3.29 g, 6h). Class IIb. Constantinople mint. Struck 1303-1320 (and later). Half-length facing figure of the Theotokos, orans, within city walls with four towers; sigla: star | star / Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus and Michael, kneeling to left and right respectively.
