Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Andronicus III. 1282-1328. AV Hyperpyron (18mm, 3.46 g, 6h). Class IIb. Constantinople mint. Struck 1325-1328 (or later). Half-length facing figure of the Theotokos, orans, within city walls with four towers; sigla: three pellets above K | three pellets above X / Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus II and Andronicus III, kneeling to left and right respectively.
