LBC –; PCPC 384; DOC –; Schlumberger, Sigillographie 24; SB –. Dark brown patina, softly struck on reverse. Near VF. Very rare, two other examples on Coin Archives.

From the Collection of a Philhellene. Ex Classical Numismatic Group Electronic Auction 258 (22 June 2011), lot 546.

Originally assigned by Schlumberger to Rhodes, Bendall, although confirming that the lack of an imperial portrait makes this plausible, classifies this as a "Sub-Byzantine" Paleologan issue
