Hartill-22.160; FD-2282; S-1458. Weight: 4.5 gms. "Yong Zheng tong bao"; Reverse: "Boo an". A nicely preserved example with even wear displaying attractive brassy patina with areas of richer coloration adding to its pleasing appearance.

Hartill makes mention of a mint being setup in the Yenyi district of Nanking in April 1732 to cast Boo an coins producing some 24,000 strings of cash a year. According to official records this is the only mention of Boo an coins. Eventually the mint closed in 1734.
