(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. 10 Cash, ND (ca. 1857-61). Board of Revenue Mint, northern branch. Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Certified Authentic by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.701. Weight: 13.4 gms. Fou bao, protruding head boo variety. "Xian Feng zhong bao"; Reverse: "Dang shi". A decent example displaying even wear with rich brassy patina over the relatively smooth rims and high points while the naturally rough surfaces texture is richer in color with minor earthen deposits. The rims do show a couple of natural rough areas caused from the casting process, otherwise a presentable example with a nice look.
