SASANIAN KINGS. Shapur II. AD. 309-379. Æ Chalkoi (3.20 gm; 18 mm). Obverse: Shapur with standard merlon crown, placed in 2 concentric rings, Obverse, Fire altar with attendants and figure in the fire altar. 2 Large pellets on either side of fire altar. Extremely rare with double ring on the obverse. Nice original green-earthen patina. Choice Very Fine.
