ATTICA, Athens. 440-404 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (17.24 gm; 24 mm). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette / ATE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. SNG Cop. 31; Starr pl. XXII, 7. Sharply struck on a nice flan. Minor hairline scratch on the obverse field, hardly visible. Choice AU. Lightly toned.
