PERSIA, QAJAR DYNASTY. Fath Ali Shah (1212-1250 AH). Civic Copper (17.06 gm; 30 mm). mint on the obverse: Rasht (Gillan province at Caspian Sea) within a circle, reverse roaring lion turning left. Date 1243 on the obverse. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Nicely centered. Reddish patina. Choice VF / Good VF. Extremely rare.
