Lower Canada "Bout De L'Isle - Cheval" Token ND (1808) MS62 Brown NGC, Br-544, BT-15. Plain edge. Coin alignment. Used to pay tolls for a trip beginning at REPENTIGNY by horse (CHEVAL). Near-perfect strike, with only a few minor marks, and considerable underlying mint luster. Almost certainly the finest known, with both of the Robins specimens certifying only as XF45 Brown. Sold with old collector envelope detailing provenance.
