Roman Empire, Aurelian, Denarius Rome - rare

Note: a great example of Aurelian's denarius. Aurelian's attempt to restore the denarius into general circulation ultimately failed. Virtually as struck and with almost full original silvering. Very rare in such an exceptional state of preservation.

Piękny egzemplarz denara. Aurelianowi ostatecznie nie udało się przywrócić na trwale denara do powszechnego obiegu. Wspaniały, okołomenniczy egzemplarz z prawie pełnym zachowanym srebrzeniem. Bardzo rzadki w tak świetnym stanie zachowania. Moneta ze znanej kolekcji G.J.R. Ankone.

Rewers: Wiktoria krocząca w lewo, trzyma wieniec laurowy i gałązkę palmową, u jej stóp jeniec, w otoku legenda:
VICT-O-RIA AVG, w odcinku B;
