Trajan. Dupondius; Trajan; 98-117 AD, Rome, c. 103-7 AD, Dupondius, 13.36g. Woytek, MIR-196bC (1 spec.); cf. C-573 (3 Fr.), RIC-586, and BM-906. Obv: COS V, bust radiate r. with fold of cloak on front shoulder and behind neck. Rx: SPQR OPTIMO - PRINCIPI S - C Trophy of Dacian arms. Apparently very rare with Woytek's portrait type C: Woytek cited only one such specimen, and that with a question mark indicating uncertainty about the portrait type classification (Schürmann Collection 2093, not illustrated)..
