Balbinus. Sestertius; Balbinus; 238 AD, Rome, Sestertius, 25.60g. BMC-32 note, C-19 (Wiczay, 20 Fr.), RIC-18 (citing Cohen and Zagreb). Obv: IMP CAES D CAEL BALBINVS AVG Bust laureate, draped, cuirassed r., seen from front. Rx: P M TR P COS I[I] P P S - C Felicitas standing l. holding short caduceus and scepter. Very rare, the only sestertius die of this type, used for both Balbinus and Pupienus (BMC, p. 103). Not in the Paris collection by Cohen's day, nor in the BM by 1962.
