USA; 1652 Shilling - Willow Tree, PCGS VG Details. Weighs 60,5 gr and designated with enviromental damage. As expected for the details grade, this piece shows extensive wear along withbroad areas of void fields, typical of die weakness and rudimentary striking practices of the time. The coin's surfaces alternate between light silvery and dark grays. Willow Tree shillings are among the rarest Massachusetts silver pieces known to exist and the coins are believed to have been struck between 1653 and 1660. NOE indicates only 8 known to exist. Reb Book estimates at $30 000.
