Cn. Plancius. AR Denarius, 55 BC. Obv. CN. PLANCIVS AED. CVR. S.C. Head of Diana Planciana right, wearing petasus. Rev. Cretan goat right; behind, bow and quiver. Cr. 432/1; B. 1. AR. 4.20 g. 17.50 mm. Sound metal. A superb example, well centred on overweight flan. Brilliant and lightly toned, with iridescent golden highights. Interesting graffito (V) on reverse. About EF. ���
