Skythia, Olbia Æ 26mm. Late 1st century AD. ΟΛΒΙΟΠΟΛΕΙ, laureate head of Apollo to right, bow before / Eagle with open wings standing to right on dolphin, monogram and AΛ to right. RPC II 490; cf. SNG Stancomb 931-942 (different archons); Zograph pl. XXXIV, 12. 13.42g, 26mm, 12h.
Very Fine. Very Rare; only one example on CoinArchives and RPC cites only 8 examples all of which are in museums. The bow on the obverse is not visible on the coins illustrated at RPC due to wear or countermarks.
