From the inventory of a UK dealer.
Imitative obols struck by the kings of Sogdiana that copy Seleukid and Baktrian types are well attested, but pieces based on Parthian prototypes had not been encountered until the example presented by CNG in 2004 (cf. Electronic Auction 102, lot 152). The cataloguer of that coin postulated that it might have been struck immediately before or after the conquest of Sogdiana by the nomadic Yuezhi, which was mostly complete by 128 BC.
