ANCIENT COINS. Greek. Attica, Athens (after 449 BC), Silver Tetradrachm, head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive-leaves and a palmette, rev AΘE, owl standing right, its head facing, an olive-sprig and crescent behind, all within an incuse square, 17.19g, 8h (Svoronos pl. 13, 21). Attractive old cabinet tone, extremely fine.
