ANCIENT COINS. Greek. Cilicia, Mallos (c.350-333 BC), Silver Stater, Athena seated facing left, holding spear and resting her right arm on shield at her side, trunk of olive-tree behind, rev MAΛ, Hermes standing facing, wearing cloak and holding caduceus, Aphrodite stands facing left on his right, resting her left elbow on short column and placing her right hand on Hermes's shoulder, 10.58g, 10h (SNG France 403-4; SNG Levante 155; SNG Cop 166). A little die-rust on the obverse, lightly toned, nearly extremely fine, a good example of this rare issue.
