East Africa East African Currency Board 10,000 Shillings = 500 Pounds 2.1.1939 Pick 32s Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. This highest denomination is one of the most iconic of all King George VI notes. All design elements are on full display, as there are no typical Specimen netting details. This example has signatures, solid zero serial numbers, a full date, and all design elements on both sides. A small printer notation is mentioned on the back, along with a margin split. Fantastic blue ink adds to the eye appeal. As this was an ultra-high denomination note, few were issued and only about a handful or less remain extant in issued form.
