Finland Finlands Bank 5 Markkaa 1918 Pick 36 PMG Choice About Unc 58. The last in an incredible run of bank cancelled notes. These notes were clearly set aside for some archival purpose. By definition, some would consider them Specimen. This example is among the most outstanding of the group. There are star cut out cancels on the seven digit serial number here, with just one number obscured, reading 000?001. The special nature of the group and nicely executed cancellations point to this being a serial number 1 note. As with the other items in this group, there are two oval stamped cancellations dated June 12, 1919, "MAKULERAD / MITATON". On back is ANNULERAD stamped cancellation in block letters.
