Malaya large format notes have exploded in popularity in the past year, and this handsome example makes a worthy edition to any relevant collection. Excellent paper is seen on both sides, with minimal rust specs. Original embossing is visible on both sides. Although dated 1942, these notes were not issued until the Japanese were expelled from Malaya in 1945.
