Malaya and British Borneo Board of Commissioners of Currency 50 Dollars 1953 Pick 4cts B104 KNB4 Color Trial Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. Brown and purple hues replace the typical blues on this handsome Color Trial. Two hole punched cancellations and red overprints are present on this Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company creation. Typically, as is the case with this example, color trials were adhered to a presentation booklet, which leaves mount remnants. The traces of adhesive are very light, and do not detract from the overall appearance. No finer example has crossed the auction block in traceable history. The eye appeal far exceeds the third party technical grade. Visible embossing, clean margins, and paper originality are all quite evident. An impressive and very rare Queen Elizabeth II color trial, and not to be missed.
