Spain Banco de Espana 4000 Reales de Vellon 1.5.1862 Pick UNL Remainder PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 Net. This incredible, unlisted rarity is the highest denomination of the 1862 series. In fact, only 40,000 notes were issued, with virtually all banknotes redeemed between 1870 and 1873. All design elements are on full display, with foreign substance mentioned for accuracy. The extra wide left margin is mostly clean and better than typically seen compared with other large format notes of the 19th century. As a Remainder, serial numbers and signatures are lacking.
