Spain Banco de Espana 50; 100 Pesetas 1.1.1875; 1.7.1876 Pick 7x; 11x Two Contemporary Counterfeit Examples PMG Very Fine 25; Extremely Fine 40 Net. Two high denomination rarities from the 1870s are offered in this lot, each of which is a contemporary counterfeit. Although most design elements and colors were executed well, the overall quality is lacking when compared to an authentic banknote. Each note is hole punched cancelled and stamped overprinted "FALSO" on the front. Repairs were executed to the 100 Pesetas, while the 50 Pesetas has an internal tear.
