Spain Banco de Espana 5 Pesetas 21.11.1936 Pick 97a Two Examples PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ; Extremely Fine 40. Two handsome rarities from the 1936 series are offered in this lot. Notes issued through Burgos are Nationalist Issues, and most are scarce today. Interestingly, although this is the initial denomination of the series, it is much scarcer than the higher denomination types. The Uncirculated example is hole punched cancelled, while the second note is in lightly circulated Extremely Fine grade.
