Anv: Laureate bust of Ferdinand VII with cloak, around legend: FERDINANDO VII HISP ET IND REGI PROFLIGATIS HOSTIBVS DIVINITUS RESTITUTO MEXICI CONSULATUS, under the bust: MDCCCXIV. Rev: Mercury on the march, looking at a royal crown radiant with light, with a caduceus in the right hand and two banners on the left shoulder, one of the caules embroidered with the shield of the Consulate, below, in the background, a view of an amoral coastal city and a nave, above the upper band with the legend: SUB CLIPEO SUO FELICITER PROGREDIOR, in exergue: PV RODRIGZ.
